Rentomise Pty Ltd ("Rentomise", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect Your Personal Information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and other relevant legislation. This Policy applies to all account holders and users of Rentomise's services.

We collect the following types of Personal Information:
- Full name, gender, date of birth
- Contact information (email address, phone number)
- Identification documentation
- Relevant qualifications and licenses, business information, and other information that may be of interest to users or account holders
- Public information
- Property information and related documents
- IP address and device information
We may collect Personal Information to provide to our identity verification service provider and to facilitate use of Rentomise platform services.

- Directly from users or account holders via the Rentomise platform or mobile application, or as an outcome of using Rentomise services
- Metadata from interactions with our services
4. Why We Collect It
- To facilitate identity verification through an accredited third-party provider (for some account types)
- To support account setup and use
- To enable an account holder (the Service Acceptor) to undertake property management related tasks, and selectively outsource tasks to a third party account holder (the Service Provider)
- To comply with our legal obligations
- To improve our services and platform security
5. What You are Agreeing to
By using Rentomise, You (the account holder or user of Rentomise services) have reviewed, fully understand and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, including but not limited to:
- Us disclosing Your Personal Information and other information as necessary to create the account and to enable use of Rentomise services
- Personal Information provided being viewed, collected and/or stored by other account holders and users
- Account information, including all Personal Information and any related information, being provided to and managed by a third party (not us), where the handling of data will be subject to the third-party provider's privacy policy and relevant laws and regulations
- That Personal Information and account information You provide is accurate, up to date and belongs to You
In collecting this information, we make no assurances and are not responsible for, and do not warrant the truth or accuracy of any aspect of any information provided (whether expressed or implied) as described in the Rentomise Terms of Use Policy ("Terms"). This Policy should be read in conjunction with the Terms Policy.
You have rights under law, including the right to access, correct, or delete your Personal Information, and to withdraw consent where applicable.
6. Sharing Your Information
We only share Your Personal Information when necessary for the purposes outlined in this Policy, including third-party service providers and where required by law. This includes:
- With account holders and/or users
- With service providers (e.g., hosting, email, analytics)
- Where legally required (e.g., court orders, law enforcement)
7. Overseas Disclosure
Your Personal Information is primarily stored on servers located in Australia. In limited cases, Personal Information may be accessed or processed overseas where our service providers operate internationally.
8. Data Security
We implement physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect Your Personal Information:

- Secure infrastructure and access controls
- Digital certificates and credential management
- Security training where relevant for employees

- You can access Your Personal Information via Your Rentomise profile
- You can contact our privacy team to request updates or corrections
If we deny a request, we will provide written reasons and outline further options available to you.

If You have questions, concerns, or complaints about this policy or our data practices:
We will respond to all complaints within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Our website and app use cookies and tracking technologies to:
- Improve functionality and performance
- Analyse user behaviour
- Provide a more personalised experience

You agree to receive notices electronically.
By continuing to use our services after any changes to this user agreement become effective, You agree to comply with those changes. If You do not agree with any changes to this user agreement, You may close your Account.
If You are unhappy with the changes we have made to these terms and conditions, You can close your Account.
